What exactly is Sex Therapy?

There are many types of therapy and it's always helpful to research and see what you think will help you most. Sex Therapy uses a Cognitive Behavioural Approach (CBT) to therapy, which means clients set their goals they want to achieve and I give them homework, to do away from the sessions, to reach those goals. The client(s) will regularly attend sessions to give detailed feedback about how the homework is going before moving to each next stage, working at the pace of the client and ensuring any possible difficulties or problems along the way, are discussed and assessed. Homework involves both individual and couple exercises.
